Hotel Review: Guangdong Victory Hotel, Guangzhou

The Guangdong Victory is an older hotel, without the polished feel of the more upscale White Swan. However, the rooms are large and comfortable and you still have easy access to all that Shamian Island has to offer.

Yes, but equipment was old and in disrepair

Small rooftop pool in new building; Hours weren’t consistent

Rooms:

Old but nicely appointed and in good condition

Hotel:

Hotel is made up of new and old buildings. We stayed in the old building,
where the rooms are supposedly larger. The restaurant on the first floor of
the new building serves a western-style breakfast buffet in the morning.
A second restaurant serves Chinese food for lunch and dinner.
