85 miles
With Autumn rapidly approaching, I realized that I probably don’t have very many good riding days left. So, I jumped on the motorcycle this morning and logged 85 miles. Having no particular route or destination in mind, I simply started riding. It was about 8:00 AM or so. By 8:30, I was in Johnstown topping off the tank with 2.3 gallons of fresh get-me-there juice. From there, I passed through Chatham, Granville, Newark before returning to town. I saw lots of corn, cattle, and dead animals (mostly skunks) — must be that time of year. Anyway, the old Garmin eMap tracked it all for me, including the very cool but not-so-useful (to me, anyway) elevation profile. Well, that’s all for today. See you on the road.
