Hotel Review: Crowne Plaza Hotel (Wangfujing Street), Beijing

The Crowne Plaza is a very nice hotel, right on the edge of the trendy and upscale Wangfujing Street shopping district. Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are also within walking distance. Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel and we recommend it.

Very nice and well maintained, including two treadmills and some weight training equipment

Pool:

Nice top-floor indoor pool and hot tub

Rooms:

Standard rooms are nice, fairly average hotel rooms with very hard beds (think box spring);
On the club level, rooms are a bit larger and beds are softer

Hotel:

Top notch service; Several restaurants, a lounge, and gift shop in the hotel; Very convenient
location, close to the Wangfujing Street shopping district and Tiananmen Square is only a short walk.
