Arch Park, Columbus

One of the central features of Columbus’ 75-acre monument to local captains of industry is Arch Park, officially known as McFerson Commons. Named for the Dimon McFerson, past chairman of the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, the 2.2 acre urban oasis is surrounded by newly built condos and office buildings. The wedge-shaped park prominently features the last remaining ruins of the former Union Station that once stood, well, not so very close by.
